Bahri – SAR
The Sudanese Alliance for Rights (SAR) has monitored summary executions (without due process) of civilians by fighters and militias allied with the Sudanese Armed Forces in Bahri city (Khartoum North).
The alliance has obtained verified information confirming that at least 18 people, including one woman, were killed in seven separate incidents attributed to these fighters and militias, following the military’s recapture of the Al-Jaili area on 25 January.
The alliance’s follow-up reports indicate that many of the victims of these incidents, which took place in areas around the Al-Jaili oil refinery, hail from Sudan’s Darfur or Kordofan regions.
