29 Civilians Killed, 82 Injured in Sudanese Army Airstrike on Um Badir City, North Kordofan

On the evening of Tuesday, February 25, 2025, the Sudanese army’s air force launched an aerial attack on Um Badir city in North Kordofan state, leaving 29 civilians dead and 82 others injured, according to reports from the Sudanese Alliance for Rights (SAR).

Eyewitnesses who spoke to the alliance confirmed that the bombing targeted gold mining areas near Um Badir, with all the victims being civilians.

The alliance has also obtained videos showing the extent of the damage to both the area and its citizens.
